2017 Hawaii Hemp Conference

Senators Ruderman (Puna District 2) and Mike Gabbard (Oahu District 20) joined by Hawaii Farmers Union United President and panel moderator, Vincent Mina for a panel discussion on the “Future of Hemp Legislation in Hawaii” during the Hawaii Hemp Conference.

“As a long time supporter of farmer’s, local, value-added products, hemp is a natural economic opportunity to residents of Puna. However, it’s not only an economic opportunity. By allowing and embracing hemp cultivation, research and health benefits of the Cannabis plant, the largest district in Hawaii can relearn how to thrive. Puna can benefit in many ways and we count on the support of Puna voters to ensure this trend continues.” -Russell Ruderman
